What do we do with a recipe – it tells us the ingredients, the timings and the actions required to produce an end result. How often do we go full steam ahead without a recipe of our own before we act? We don’t think about the tools needed, the time it will take and what we need to do to. Even when we do we often forget about the outcome – the end product. Will what I am doing right now contribute to the end product? At no point in a recipe do you get a step that has nothing to do with the end result. So if we’re applying this to work, projects, DIY, health, fitness – whatever – the right recipe will help you achieve the right result. Find what you need, the steps you need and apply the correct time and – end product. Then – you have a tried and tested recipe for something that works and can be repeated time and time again.
